Antique White Manufacturing Co. “Hot Blast” No. 54 blow torch / brazing torch, manufactured in Chicago, Illinois.
Research indicates this style dates to approximately the late 1890s to early 1900s. It has the original White Mfg. Co. / Hot Blast / Chicago U.S.A. identification plate and the distinctive early burner and side-pump setup.
This torch belonged to my grandfather and has been stored in a barn/garage for many years. I have left it in its original aged condition and have not attempted to polish or restore it.

This item is being sold strictly as an antique collectible/display piece. It has not been tested and is not being represented as safe or functional for use.
There is a crack on the top of the tank near the raised fitting, clearly shown in the photos.
The pump no longer has its internal seal/leather cup and is not functional as-is.
The bottom threaded plug does come out and is not seized.
There is age-related patina, tarnish, oxidation, surface rust, scratches, discoloration and general wear throughout, all consistent with its age and long-term barn/garage storage.
Great conversation piece and displays very well.
