Antq. Photo Card S.E.Hollingsworth, Wife & Residence 1886 Knox Co. Vigo Twp. IN For Sale

For sale is an antique photo card of S.E. Hollingsworth, his wife Sarah, and their residence in southern Indiana, more than a century ago. I believe it is a copy of the print that appeared in the book, History of Knox and Davies Counties, Indiana, that was published in 1886. The image measures 2 by 5 inches and is glued to a cardboard stock that is 3 by 6 1/4. I believe it dates to about 1900. According to the aforementioned History, Hollingsworth was one of Indiana’s most prominent farmers during the mid- to late 1800s. He owned 447 acres of land in Knox County, Vigo Township, and dealt in fine stock, especially the Poland-China hog. This item is in very good condition and quite hard to find.
