The Lake Michigan Beach House shown on this card was designed by architect Ralph B Herrick and built by Civilian Conservation Corps crews in 1935 using recycled brick from Ludington’s Morton Salt mill, and it is recognized as the only Arts and Crafts style beach house on the Lake Michigan shore and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
