Beautiful authentic US Civil War P1857 cartridge box. I purchased this cartridge box from The Horse Soldier in Gettysburg PA which is one of the most reputable dealers in the country. I have included a copy of the recipe. This cartridge box is in amazing condition. The leather is still slightly pliable and the hardware and box plate are firmly attached.
