is the subject of the 2024 Bing and Grondahl Christmas plate, the 130th plate in the series – the longest running and most popular series of collector plates ever produced. The scene features a Danish farmhouse with the door and lamp post decorated for Christmas. The farmer can be seen inside the door, bringing a bucket of food or water for the four geese waiting outside.ALMOST GONE! This 2024 plate had a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $180. My price is 25% below Retail Price. Discontinued and disappearing fast!The scene is molded into the porcelain and hand painted in traditional Copenhagen Blue under the glaze. Diameter approximately 7.2 inches (18 cm). Pierced foot for hanging wire. Appropriately marked on the back, including the three tower trademark of Bing & Grondahl.
This plate was designed in DENMARK by Dag Samsund. Like ALLBing & Grondahl and Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates since 2014, it was manufactured in Thailand ("Country of Origin"). Any seller who lists these as Made in Denmark either doesn't know what they are talking about, or is deliberately attempting to mislead. The plates made in Thailand are the same high quality porcelain and manufactured under the supervision and inspection of Danish personnel to meet the same high standards as allBing & Grondahl products.
