Bob Steele & John Dusty KingBackground: I received these two note letters from my early collecting days. I was into the Westerns in the mid to late 1970s. I received them via the mail route at that time. I must have picked up their home addresses in Newsreel or a similar magazine for collectors from that vintage.
Condition:Mint writing and signatures in solid blue pen and dark blue felt-tip. They are both on 4x5\" white paper, which is extremely clean on both sides. They both have a very light center mailing fold, which are nearly completely flat and unnoticeable after all this elapsed time. Hence, mint writing and signatures. Near Mint white paper.

Authored the 259-page book Baseball\'s Golden Half-Century 1910-1959 (published in 2007). Great nephew and sole researcher of Paul Martin, who illustrated twenty magazine covers for Collier\'s, played against B.Tilden and in three US Opens. I\'ve been a subscriber and occasional advertiser to the major hobby publications, since the early 1970s. My full-page ads have appeared in Autograph Collector (later called Autograph Magazine). This includes the following older issues: Jun \'90 p 37; Sept \'90 p 25; Jan \'91 p 35; Aug \'91 p 19; Apr \'93 p 7; Oct \'94 p 32; Oct \'96 p 87 etc. I was featured in Sports Collectors Digest in June 2022.
