This is an original Victorian advertising trade card for Frank W. Lapham, a Hair Dresser and Barber in Pittsfield, Maine. The front features a charming color lithograph of a barefoot girl with a basket, printed by Gies & Co. of Buffalo, N.Y. The reverse advertises razor honing and the sale of confectionery, fruit, nuts, tobacco, and cigars. The card shows some age-related toning and light staining but is in good condition for its age, making it a wonderful piece for collectors of barberiana or Maine history.
