Up for sale is a Beautiful Vintage Canadian Inuit Hand-Carved Stone sculpture of a muskox, consistent with traditional Inuit art. This carving / sculpture is made from a mottled green and brown stone, which resembles serpentine or soapstone, it features, Fine, vertical lines are cut into the stone to show the thick, shaggy coat of the animal it captures a compact muskox with a lowered head and dense body proportions. Carvings of arctic animals like the muskox are frequently made by Inuit artists in communities across northern Canada. This piece is fantastic with its intricate details. It is Sure to be a conversation starter this piece is a must have for your art collection/ display or home decor. It shows a sticker on the bottom with a signature but it’s hard to read.
