This lot includes four different years:1974, 1975, 1976 and 1982. The 1974 plate depicts Balthazar, 1975 depicts the Annunciation, 1976 features the angel with trumpet, and 1982 depicts the Baptism of Christ. Each is signed within the design and dated “Weihnachten” for its respective year.
These are the large porcelain versions, measuring approximately11 1/4 inches (29 cm) in diameter.
All four come with theiroriginal Rosenthal presentation boxes, which is a major plus for this series. The plates are in nice pre-owned vintage condition, while the boxes have some expected age and storage wear.
