Up for sale is a beautiful piece of Chrysocolla with Copper specimen from various Indonesian Islands to include Obi Island and Ternate Island in North Maluku, Indonesia. This piece is 4 1/4 by 3 1/4 inches and weighs 172 grams.
These specimens are composed of green-blue chrysocolla, copper veins, and a translucent, colorless, or pale chalcedony matrix. Each unique piece are formed from mineral rich groundwater deposit silica and copper into volcanic ash flow, creating beautiful and often spiderweb shaped copper patterns.
As a rock collector myself, I want to make sure my pieces are fair priced and are far better than Etsy and other online sites.
Each piece comes in and with the display container to best show the specimen off.
