Rare Old State House Boston Commemorative Plate - made in England. This transferware plate measuresapproximately 10 1/4" inches across, and has a white background with blue images. The plate hasa decorative border, with a central image featuring the Old State House in Boston. The back of this platecarries the following inscription: "The Old State House, Boston -- The Boston Massacre (1770) on King Street (Now State Street) Occurred in the Shadow of the Old State House. -- Produced Exclusively For Jordan Marsh Company", as well as the manufacturer's marks: "Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston -- Made in England".
This plate is in excellent condition - No crazing, chips, cracks, stains, repairs or marks anywhere on this item.
