I have not polished. I hate to polish these types of items because manytell me they do not want it polished. They like the \"old\" look.It has some plate loss.
All parts are secure. I see no repairs.It sets on a flat surface, no wobble.
I am not sure what this was used for back in the day.Maybe it was used for fruit and vegetables.Maybe it was used for flowers.Maybe it had a bowl inside of it for serving food.
