• This listing is for a Breyer traditional model horse / donkey:
• DONKEY (Chalky Variation) #81on the Donkey mold.
• Vintage, produced between 1958 and 1976.

• This is a BASECOAT CHALKY variation of this model, which is harder to find than the standard base plastic variation. His underlying plastic appears to be a gray color, which establishes the need for the basecoat chalky white layer to display his intended white marks over this gray color.

• Note: He does not have any maker\'s marks on him. This is standard for this Donkey mold.

• CONDITION:
• Ear tip rubs: Moderate / SignificantHoof rubs: SignificantOther flaws: This model is in good overall condition for his age. The various flaws that he does have actually help to show off his rare \"chalky\" nature. His areas of rubs display his different paint layers, including a white \"ring\" around the edges of the rubs (which is a classic sign of being a basecoat chalky), along with a gray color on the inside of the rubs, which shows the underlying gray plastic used under the paint layers. No breaks or chips on this model. Please observe the detailed pictures provided to see the scope of his flaws.
