Brown & Sharp 2-3/4\" Toolmakers No. 802 Round Leg Inside Spring Calipers H450 For Sale

Here is a nice old smaller-size Brown & Sharpe No. 802 Inside Toolmakers\' round leg spring calipers. (on page 369 Brown & Sharpe catalog # 142) The catalog shows a 2\" and 3\" size, but these are in between that with 2-5/8\" long legs. They will open to 2-5/8\" while still under spring pressure with the solid screw nut. All these old calipers from B&S, Starrett & Lufkin slightly varied in size over the years, different from the even size catalog dimensions listed. Dividers you can understand as they get ground down and re-sharpened over time. Nice little pair here with no engravings on them in great shape.
