Here is a classic. Nice vintage Browne & Sharpe USA No. 47RS outside micrometer in the 1.000\"-2.000\" size. Resolution is .001\". It comes with its original oil soaked vintage box, oil soaked pamphlet, the adjusting wrench and its 1.000\" round standard. Micrometer works great and has a ratcheting thimble. Graduations are all readable. It has a spindle locking clamp ring that works if you rotate it firmly. Steel anvils. It has decimal equivalents on the frame in 8ths, 32nds and 64ths. The last photo with the red pointer shows that there is a 3 letter owner initial stamping on the frame. (JCW).
