Chief Red Wolf was the grandson of Sitting Bull, a full-blooded Sioux orphaned at age 4 when his parents were killed on the Niobara battlefield and taken under the wing of Buffalo Bill Cody, a colonel in the army at the time.

THIS RPPC IS FROM BETWEEN 1904-1918 BASED OFF THE 4 POINTED UP TRIANGLES IN THE POSTAGE SQUARE ON BACK, BUT SEEING W.F CODY ISNT PRESENT AND THE MOOD APPEARS SAD ID SAY THIS IS AFTER HIS JANUARY 10TH 1917 PASSING, PUTTING THIS BETWEEN 1917-1918 TIME PERIOD!
