Queen Anne pattern.A 13\" diameter plate that is sometimes called and used as a charger. Carson Industries in Freeport, Pennsylvania developed this metal alloy that looks like Pewter. Statesmetal is very popular when made into food serving pieces because it will not chip, crack, rust or break. It is food safe and can go from stove or freezer to the table. It weighs three pounds. Hand washing is recommended.No two pieces are exactly the same because the mold is made of sand. Molten metal is poured into the mold and when it cools, the sand is dumped. The surface of the item will show the shape of some pieces of sand. The item does undergo final finishing by hand using buffing, polishing, and other finishing tools. This charger has a matte finish. Pieces will show scratch and cutmarks, but that is considered giving character to each piece. This piece is no longer made, and this is no longer made, and we have only two in inventory. This plate is left from our now closed brick-and-mortar store. It is considered new because it has never been used.
