Cash Family Pottery Clinchfield Artware Vintage Hand-Painted Floral Pitcher RARE For Sale

This gorgeous hand-painted pitcher was produced by the Cash Family Pottery, formerly Clinchfield Artware Pottery, in the years between 1960 and 1980 in Erwin, Tennessee.

The pitcher is hand-painted with pale pink and white spring blossoms and green leaves on a cream background, and finished in a clear glossy glaze. The floral design is on the front and back, as well as on the inside of the wide pour lip.

There is a graceful embossed design around the handle and outlining the body of the pitcher. The mouth is scalloped.

The pitcher features a large easy-to-hold handle, and finished with a small decorative ball at the top, which is a distinctive Cash Family Pottery design.

The pitcher measures 11 inches tall, 11 inches wide from spout to handle and 8 inches in diameter. The opening at the mouth is 5 1/2 inches across.

The pitcher is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

There is a small circular dent in the handle, which is under the glaze, so it was made during the pitcher\'s production. It is pictured.

There is also a tiny drop of deep rose paint under the glaze near the bottom, which is also photographed.

Cash Family Pottery items have been gifted to such royalty as Princess Margaret in 1960, and Prince Charles and Princess Diana, who were given a tea set as a wedding gift.
