This vintage chrome postcard features the City Hall in Pietermaritzburg, Natal (KwaZulu-Natal), South Africa. The impressive red brick Victorian architecture with its distinctive clock tower dominates the scene, with a white monument visible in the foreground plaza. Period automobiles from the 1950s or 1960s can be seen along the street, providing an excellent view of mid-century urban life in South Africa.
