Listed are 7 soldiers from the Civil War and then later part of The Montana and Wyoming Territories. H.B. Allen 95th Illinois Volunteer army, Assigned to General U. Grant\'s XVI Corps in Vicksburg, stationed in The Montana Territory, deceased. Colonel Charles Brewster, Civil War, Fair Oaks, Gettysburg, deceased. Lt. George Ely, Co. D, 2nd Infantry, Antietam, Civil War, d.1886. Lt. Henry C. Lyon, 34th NY Volunteer, Antietam, died at the battle, 1862. Lt. Colonel John Baldwin Neil, Bull Run, Vicksburg, Shilo (wounded) Governor of Idaho Territory d. 1902. Corp.George Henry Patch, 19th Massachusetts Infantry d.1887, Major Albert Allen Nickerson, 7th Maine Infantry, Antietam, d.1926.All of these signatures have been researched and have been taken from ledgers from the 1860-1883 time period. Many went on from the Civil War and helped forge the Western Frontier and Montana and Wyoming Territories. Some of these names were involved with President Chester A. Arthur\'s famous Yellowstone Trip, as Fort Missoula and Fort Custer utilized their enlisted as security for Arthur during his 3 week tour. Please feel free and ask any questions.
