Up for sale is a fantastic, 100% authentic 3-piece lot of American Civil War to Indian Wars era uniform buttons (circa 1860s–1880s). This collection group includes two highly collectible New York State Militia buttons alongside a standard Union Army enlisted men's button.
**Lot Includes:**
1. **Large New York State Militia Coat Button:** Features the NY State crest on the face. Reverse is sharply backmarked "SCOVILL MFG CO, WATERBURY. / STATE OF NEW YORK". Loop shank is completely secure and straight.
2. **Small New York State Militia Cuff Button:** Matching NY State crest on the face. Reverse is sharply backmarked "EXTRA QUALITY" with decorative stars. Loop shank is fully intact.
3. **Large U.S. Army General Service Coat Button:** Classic Federal Eagle with plain shield. This is a desirable wartime "Blank Back" variation featuring a recessed backplate. (Please note the reverse shank is depressed/recessed into the center plate as shown).
