Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Diana Thorne left for Germany around 1912 to take formal art studies in Munich and Berlin. Shemoved to the United States in 1917. During the following years she became one of America’s most recognized canine artists. In total she illustrated (and often authored) children’s books dealing with dogs and animal life.The image measures approximately 5\" x 7\" and has been CUSTOM MATTED in a black, acid free mat, ready for your8\" x 10\" frame.
