Confederate General Edward P. Alexander's Mother Mailed Envelope 1854 to West Pt For Sale

Here is an interesting piece of history. It is an envelope mailed to CADET Edward P. Alexander by his mother. She mailed correspondence to him in 1854 when he was a cadet at West Point. Edward Porter Alexander would later become a Brigadier General during the Civil War.
The envelope has a stamp paid from Savannah, Georgia. It measures approx. 5.5" x 3.5".
