These are (2) two fantastic comic books in a lot featuring issues of Blackhawk, Stan, Andre, Chuck, Olaf, and the rest of the Blackhawk team. The lower grade comics are from the DC Universe and include issues from 1962 and 1964, during the Silver Age era. The artist/writer for these comics is Dick Dillin, and the cover art is also by Dick Dillin.
The lower grade comics are in mixed format and are in English language. They are uncertified and have not been modified. The issues are first printings and come boarded. The main character of these comics is Blackhawk, and the genre includes army and superheroes. This lot is perfect for collectors and fans of US Comics, and it is a great addition to any collection.
These are two (2) lower grade comics that are pre-owned and from the Silver Age. Blackhawk# 171 has some significant surface wear with spine abrasion( small cuts/nicks/ticks/staple tears , color breaks along and near the spine area, some smaller creases along the bottom right corner, some dimpling in spots, a smaller color scrape (1/2 x 1/2 inch) upper middle logo, small fold/tear upper edge left, other edge wear. Color/inks are reduced, gloss/sheen are lower. Inside pages are cream colored/tannish, no missing pieces, all page are whole. Back cover has normal moderate surface wear with spine abrasion(nicks, tears, small cuts ),lower edge is slightly jagged, upper edge has some smaller cuts, some wrinkling in spots. Blackhawk# is in good condition with only smaller /more moderate blemishes, some creasing /wrinkling on the front cover (lower portions has multiple light creases(2-3 inch) light spine and edge wear. Colors/inks are still good, some reduction of gloss/sheen. Inside pages are cream colored, no missing advertisements, no cut outs. Back cover has a small fold/crease bottom spine, some light spine and edge wear. Please look at the photos. All comics are bagged and boarded. All comics are shipped via USPS and packaged well.
