Jones was the Chief Resident of Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital on November 22, 1963, and is the last surviving doctor who treated President John F. Kennedy. He worked in Trauma Room One to resuscitate Kennedy and later helped operate on Lee Harvey Oswald.
