Drumright OK $50,000 Fire Nov 16 1916 RPPC Real Photo Postcard Oklahoma Disaster
A striking real photo postcard capturing an active downtown fire in the Oklahoma oil boomtown of Drumright, boldly captioned in the negative "$50,000 FIRE DRUMRIGHT NOV. 16 1916." Towering black smoke rolls over the business district as a huge crowd, spectators atop railroad boxcars, and streams of water fill the scene.
