Very fine 1849 handwritten notice of transfer for Mr. Francis F. Williams from Bangor, where Pond was President, to East Windsor. Pond was editor of the very important Spirit of the Pilgrims, professor of theology at bangor and a fearless defender of Orthodoxy in the 19th century. He published Memoirs of Samuel Davies, Nocholas Zinzendorf, John Cotton, etc., plus more theological works on Baptism, The Second Advent, etc. A bit awkwardly cut, but attractive.
