Extremely Rare Antique Pharmacy Bottle – Dr. LH Poore Webb’s Mills Maine For Sale

Blown in mold with an applied or tooled top. 5 ½” high by 2 ½” wide. Base is marked ‘WD & CO PAT APLD FOR’. This bottle is in poor to fair condition. Overall, it appears to have been crudely manufactured. There is an apparent crack in the neck, though it can’t be felt with a fingertip – so it may be a manufacturing defect vs. an actual break. There are similar flaws in the mouth, but they do not appear to be actual chips. There is a chip in the heel of the bottle the approximate size of a ball bearing. The bottle also displays etching in some areas. I have attempted to show these flaws in the photos; however – I am not an antique bottle expert – so please ask questions!
