9 1/2\" dia x 4 1/4\"h, c. 1881-1890.
Round gently scalloped shallow bowl shape on waisted pedestal with round foot. Fine hand painted lake scene with sailboat, wood pier & 2 figures, & nearby a tree. By hand gilt sponged edge decoration with 6 pendant forms extending into the well - repeated on the base.
Green underglaze crown \"Coalport A.D.1750\" mark used from c. 1881- 1890. Godden mark #958, \"Printed crown mark c.1881-1939+. \'England\' added c.1891. \'Made in England\' occurs from c. 1920\".
Fine condition. No damage. No chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.
