A beautiful complete set of four vintage Fire-King Jadeite nesting/mixing bowls in graduated sizes:
- 9-inch bowl
- 8-inch bowl
- 7-inch bowl
- 6-inch bowl
All four bowls are marked on the bottom “Fire-King Oven Ware Made in U.S.A.”
Based on the markings, I believe these date from approximately 1951–1960. The “Made in U.S.A.” marking is consistent with post-1950 production, while these bowls do not carry the later Anchor Hocking wording.
Condition:
These are vintage, previously used bowls and I want to describe their condition conservatively rather than call them “perfect.”
All four are free of chips, cracks and flea bites. The 8-inch bowl shows some visible wear to the finish and is not as glossy as the other three.
The 6", 7" and 9" bowls retain a very nice glossy appearance. I do not see any significant scratches or other notable wear on those three, but they are approximately 65–75 years old and have been used. There may be minor surface marks, utensil marks or other signs of age/use that I have overlooked or that are visible under different lighting.
Please examine the photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.
The bowls nest neatly together and display beautifully. The classic Jadeite green is particularly striking, and finding the four graduated sizes together makes this a wonderful set for a Fire-King or vintage kitchenware collection.
