è stato un calciatore italiano, di ruolo centrocampista.
Campione del Mondo con la nazionale italiana nel 1938,
è stato anche un allenatore di calcio
Giocando all’Ambrosiana dal 1928 fino al 1934.
La cartolina lo ritrae con la maglia nerazzurra del periodo di fusione tra U.S. Ambrosiana (internazionale Milano) e L’Unione Sportiva Milanese si riconosce lo stemma ovale a scacchi bianco e nero di quest’ultima, mentre la maglia rimane fedele ai colori a strisce nerazzurre.

Cresciuto nel Venezia, passò nel 1928 all\'Ambrosiana con cui vinse il primo campionato di Serie A nella stagione 1929-1930, la prima della nuova era del girone unico; in quell\'annatafu uno dei trascinatori della squadra nerazzurra, andando a segno ben 16 volte.
Rimase a Milano fino al 1934, per poi passare ai rivali della Juventus con cui vinse il suo secondo scudetto personale (e l\'ultimo del Quinquennio d\'oro bianconero) nella stagione 1934-1935, rimanendo a Torino anche l\'anno seguente. Nel 1936 si trasferì alla Roma con la quale giocò fino al 1940, dopodiché concluse la carriera in Serie C al Suzzara, squadra nella quale ricoprì il doppio ruolo di giocatore e allenatore fino al 1942.
Il 12 febbraio 1933 esordì con la maglia della nazionale in Belgio-Italia (2-3), e disputò alcune altre partite senza tuttavia prendere parte al campionato del mondo 1934 su invito del medico, come testimoniato da Vittorio Pozzo nel suo ricordo sulle pagine de La Stampa.
In quell\'anno giocò però la celebre partita contro l\'Inghilterra passata alla storia come la \"battaglia di Highbury\". Fu invece chiamato da Pozzo per il campionato del mondo 1938 nei quali fu titolare fisso, vincendo la Coppa Jules Rimet. Concluse la sua esperienza in azzurro nel 1939 con 17 partite.

he was an Italian footballer, a midfielder role.
World Champion with the Italian national team in 1938,
he was also a football coach
Playing at the Ambrosiana from 1928 until 1934.
The postcard portrays him with the Nerazzurri shirt of the period of fusion between U.S. Ambrosiana (international Milan) and L\'Unione Sportiva Milanese recognize the oval black and white checkered emblem of the latter, while the shirt remains faithful to the colors of the Nerazzurri stripes.

Raised in Venice, in 1928 he moved to the Ambrosiana with which he won the first Serie A championship in the 1929-1930 season, the first of the new era of the single group; in that vintage, he was one of the Nerazzurri team drivers, scoring 16 times.
He remained in Milan until 1934, before moving on to Juventus\' rivals with whom he won his second personal championship (and the last of the bianconero gold quinquennium) in the 1934-1935 season, remaining in Turin the following year. In 1936 he moved to Rome with which he played until 1940, after which he ended his career in Serie C at Suzzara, a team in which he held the dual role of player and coach until 1942.
On 12 February 1933 he made his debut with the national team in Belgium-Italy (2-3), and played some other games without taking part in the 1934 world championship at the invitation of the doctor, as evidenced by Vittorio Pozzo in his memory on the The print.
In that year, however, played the famous game against England passed into history as the \"Battle of Highbury\". Instead he was called by Pozzo for the 1938 World Championship in which he was the regular owner, winning the Jules Rimet Cup. He completed his experience in blue in 1939 with 17 games.
