Foryour consideration is this LOT OF (3) different size from the Devonian period, Paleozoic eraduring the Phanerozoic eon. These pieces were gathered by my late unclewho worked for Shell Oil as a geologist.I inherited numerous different fossils and rock formations my uncle dugand discovered while performing his field work for the oil company. Most of the fossil/rock specimens hecollected were found in different parts of the United States with a fewdifferent pieces collected while working in Canada.
Thelot includes (3) three close but different size Mucrospirifer ThedfordensisBrachiopod fossilsthat range in size as follows. The “LARGEST” size measures approximately1.25” long (left tip to right tip), 13/16” wide (front to back) and 10/16”thick (bottom to top). The “SECOND”medium size measures approximately 1-3/16” long (left tip to right tip), 13/16”wide (front to back) and 9/16” thick (bottom to top). The “THIRD” smallest size measuresapproximately 1-2/16” long (left tip to right tip), .75” wide (front to back)and .50” thick (bottom to top). Refer todescription photos #11, #12, #13, #14 and #15 to confirm the overall sizedimensions I described.
Accordingto the note these (3) three Mucrospirifer ThedfordensisBrachiopod fossils werefound in Wisconsin and most likely date back to the Phanerozoiceon, Paleozoic era during the middle Devonian period which dates back betweenapproximately 380 to 390 million years ago.
As amatter of full disclosure, I do not understand any of the aforementioneddetails and information. I’m only sharingwhat little information I was able to glean from my uncle’s notes on thedifferent specimens listed. I apologize,if I am mistaken, it’s out of my ignorance about the subject matter and not mebeing purposely deceitful on my part. IfI need to revise and/or correct any details within my description please let meknow and I will immediately make the necessary revision.

Each specimen retains their individualdetailed natural ridges and formations and are a mottled grayish color.
