Up for sale is a Framburg 1:500 WWII British Aircraft Carrier Battler - ID Recognition Ship 8-44’. Made in WWII to teach our military forces what friend and foe looked like at sea. These ships came in (2) different scales: 1/1200 (student scale) and 1/500 (teacher scale). The teacher scale ships are rare because of their size and only a few teachers compared to students.
This model is in very nice condition. The ship is the only slush cast that Framburg did. The all metal ship sits on its iconic original light blue board. The 80+ year old board shows some wear but very nice example. The ships paint has chipped off in a few places. Ship appears to have all its parts and guns. Great rare piece.
