Here is a quite beautiful Japanese fan, which was a souvenir for the 1939 Golden gate international exposition. This is from the Japan pavilion.
The colors are phenomenal with just a tiny bit of damage to the paper along the bottom.
Please see the photos as they represent an accurate description of the item as well.
It is roughly 16“ x 9“. It is made out of bamboo and a thin paper that looks to have been screen printed. It was quality made based on the bamboo features and printing.
It’s a phenomenal survivor.
