This striking mid-century genuine jade keychain features a substantial polished green stone drop suspended from a flexible gold-tone snake-style connector and sturdy spring-loaded key ring. The jade displays beautiful natural variation, ranging from lighter celadon and apple greens to deeper mossy green areas, giving the stone wonderful organic character.
Especially desirable is the surviving original red “Genuine Jade – The Heavenly Stone” information card. The period card describes jade as a traditional token of good fortune and a symbol of love, happiness and long life. Its typography, wording and presentation complement the mid-century character of the piece and make the surviving card a particularly nice addition.

Condition
Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear to the gold-tone metal hardware consistent with previous handling and storage. The jade remains attractive with naturally occurring variations in color and texture. The spring key clasp and flexible connector appear intact. The original red Genuine Jade card shows noticeable creasing, wrinkles and storage wear as shown, but its survival with the piece is a wonderful addition. The jade stone measures approximately 1 3/4 inches long based on the quarter shown for scale, or approximately 4.4 cm. The complete keychain appears to measure approximately 5 inches long, or approximately 12.7 cm.
