George S. Patton boldly signed this United States Army envelope in black ink. The envelope is postmarked October 16, 1944, placing it during Patton’s command of the U.S. Third Army as Allied forces advanced across France following the Normandy invasion. Patton became one of America’s most recognizable military commanders of World War II. PSA authenticated and encapsulated (9.5x13”) with a PSA auto grade of NM-MT 8. Comes complete with a PSA Letter of Authenticity.
