Germanium is another late but welcome member to our lineup of density cubes. Our initial order for these was made back in December 2016 but the manufacturer found it very challenging to make the cubes and we had to go through several prototypes before we struck gold (so to speak). And, actually, we have to accept some minor chipping along the edges and corners. The combination of machine grinding and a brittle material equals high failure rates. Despite all of these problems, or perhaps because of them, we are happy indeed to finally have them in inventory as we were doubting we\'d ever have a presentable Ge density cube.
