The #58–67 run dates from 1966–1968 and is a particularly nice group of Silver Age Charlton horror books. Issue #78 dates from 1970. These issues feature classic supernatural, ghost, monster and science-fiction horror stories, with work by creators associated with Charlton’s horror line including Steve Ditko, Jim Aparo, Pat Boyette, Rocke Mastroserio and others.
All books are raw and ungraded. Condition varies throughout the lot, with typical vintage wear including spine stresses, edge and corner wear, surface wear, creasing and age-related toning. Several copies present very nicely for their age. Issues #60 and #61 show more noticeable spine-area wear/repair, as shown in the photos, while a number of the later issues in the consecutive run present more cleanly. No numerical grades are being represented.
