VINTAGE FRENCH LOVERS FIGURINE
Lovely vintage MCM hand painted porcelain figurine of a pair of French lovers measuring about 8-3/4\" tall. Featuring beautifully detailed period clothing in the pastoral style, they are gracefully posed - the woman coyly allows the man\'s embrace. Mounted on plinth base accented with a raised and gilded swirl design, a few flowers scattered at their feet. Underside bears the Maruyama mark as shown - this is an early Japanese porcelain figurine.
Condition is lovely with no damage. Just a stunning vintage figurine - beautifully finished on all sides - in the style of Sevres - lovely addition to any collection or display!
