Measuring 29 x 21.5 inches in a horizontal landscape format, this iconic piece utilizes an unconventional east-southeast perspective, showcasing the vast Los Angeles basin hemmed in by the San Gabriel Mountains. The map detail extends all the way to the Mojave Desert, Las Vegas, and Death Valley along the distant horizon line. This specific print is executed on a premium, thicker paper stock rather than standard smooth poster paper, typical of limited collector sheets issued by Cooper Enterprises. It does have holes in the four corners where it was hung on a wall before. Also in the corner and side it has spots as you can see in pictures. Because it has been stored rolled, the poster will benefit from standard flattening before mounting or framing. To safely relax the paper fibers, unroll the poster carefully face-down on a smooth surface and place flat, heavy objects on the corners for 48 to 72 hours before display.
