Hand-painted blue & white Dutch Delft ceramic decorative plate w/sailing ship. For Sale

This authentic charger is 14-inches which gives it value significantly compared to the standard 9- or 10-inch cabinet plates. Oversized chargers of this scale command a stronger decorative presence and are highly sought after by collectors of maritime and classic European ceramics. It is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. Dated 8-11/1981. Given the inscription and the maritime motif on the front, this plate was commissioned as a custom corporate presentation gift in 1981. The Dutch inscription on the back of the plate beautifully details why this specific plate was made:
