Authentic, rare, and highly collectible Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary Commemorative Riding Bell (also referred to as a Guardian, Spirit, or Gremlin Bell). Produced in limited quantities in 2003 to celebrate Harley-Davidson\'s centennial milestone.
Unlike standard pewter or zinc ride bells, this official release was crafted in the USA out of genuine .925 Sterling Silver, featuring high-relief detailing and a polished finish.
THE LEGEND OF THE RIDING BELL:According to biker tradition, mounting a small bell low on a motorcycle traps evil road spirits and gremlins inside the bell cavity. The constant ringing drives them crazy until they fall off onto the pavement—protecting the rider from mechanical mishaps and road hazards. Legend holds that a bell holds twice as much power when given as a gift!

Never used, never hung on a motorcycle, and never removed from the display package.• Paperwork & Outer Sleeve: Excellent vintage condition with minimal shelf wear on the paper insert and white cardboard sleeve.• Inner Presentation Box: Structurally 100% intact with working snap closure. As is common with Harley display boxes from this era, the exterior black synthetic coating shows light surface flaking/peeling along the back/edges due to age storage (see high-resolution pictures).
