I post purchased items next day or the day after that. The dispatch time is given as 10 days as Royal Mail can take anywhere from 2 to 10 days (or longer) to now deliver a 2nd class large letter. This is the only viable method for me to be able to offer free delivery for low value items.
Offering 3 day delivery whilst using 2nd class large letter created ever increasing situations where I was getting items being reported as not delivered.
If you wish to attempt to get items delivered quicker - please use Tracked 48, but this will be at cost to buyer and I cannot guarantee Royal Mail will always deliver to those time scales.
