Herbrand Tools The 500 Set Commenorative Gold Plated Wrench Set. 1950’s very rare

Pretty rare set, they never come up. This one came from an Estate of a master mechanic. I do not know the full history of them it says on the sleeve designed exclusively for Larry Humphries by Art Karlovetz on the case I believe this was given to the pit crew or pit crews at the Indianapolis 500 back in the day, but I’m not 100% sure so do your own due diligence on that. It appears to be a nice set. I’m not sure if they’ve been used or not. They’re pretty darn clean. They almost have like an oily protective residue on them the bag is nice. I believe it’s canvas on plastic or something like that the case or the carton that it came in is a bit worn the corners are worn out from shelfware the previous owner had this put away. It was special to him
