Up for sale is a rare, beautifully preserved Homer Laughlin Round Covered Vegetable Bowl / Tureen in the highly sought-after English Regency pattern. Crafted on the classic, lightweight Eggshell Georgian blank shape dating to the late 1940s, this elegant piece features delicate floral sprays, sophisticated ivory body coloring, and rich gold trim accents. Finding this specific serving piece complete with its original matching lid intact is incredibly difficult.
Excellent vintage condition. Unlike most earthenware from this era, this bowl has no crazing, no hairline cracks, and deep interior staining. The interior is bright, structurally sound, and food-safe.
The lid fits beautifully. There is one minor flea bite on the unexposed interior rim of the lid (completely hidden when seated and does not affect display or function).
The floral decals are vibrant, and the gold trim shows only minimal, age-appropriate vintage wear.
