Its memorabilia is considered a tier above standard luxury hotel items, as the hotel has hosted legends ranging from Ernest Hemingway to Salvador Dalí. The Tradition of the New Year Gift:
During the 1990s, the Ritz Madrid maintained a prestigious tradition of commissioning limited-edition porcelain to be gifted exclusively to the hotel’s most distinguished VIP guests, diplomats, and "friends of the house." These pieces, including this "Feliz Año 1995" edition, were never available for purchase in the hotel boutique or elsewhere.

Because these were non-commercial commissions, they were produced in extremely small batches. Logo 1 of 3 featuring a royal monogram (or cypher) belonging to King Afonso XIII of Spain: a decorative A, a Spanish royal crown on a blue octagonal background in excellent condition considering its age with very tiny pinpoints of color loss. "Hotel Ritz" gold lettering also in intact excellent condition. "Madrid" all letters except the "I" are intact/excellent. Logo 2- Some more noticeable loss of blue color but overall in Very Good condition. Gold pin striping, and "Hotel Ritz Madrid" intact and in excellent condition.Logo 3- Shows the most loss of blue still showing "good" condition. Gold crown and letter A remain intact as well as Hotel name."Bon Annee 1995", "Feliz Ano Nuevo 1995" and "Happy New Year 1995" intact gold lettering in excellent condition.No Mark of manufacturer on base of piece common in exclusive VIP gifts as this.
