Wonderful Houston Llew Spiritiles #184 Lil Llew Retired Special Release with quote by Maya Angelou "If I have a monument in this world, it is my son"
Quote begins on left side and finishes on right- author noted on top. Each Spiritile is made from copper, glass and wood. It can hang on a wall or stand alone.
Lil Llew was a special release only produced for approximately 5 weeks (from July 7 to Aug. 15, 2016).
Made by hand in the old Atlanta, GA studio.
Crazed glass and enamel on copper.
8 1/2" tall x 5 1/4" wide x 1 3/4" deep
Gently pre-owned condition from non-smoking home. There are a few very small spots on the glass crazing where the copper is showing through with no surface glass over the top. These areas are very small and are only noticeable upon close inspection. I'm not sure if this is a characteristic of the Spiritless, but as can be seen in the images, the art displays beautifully.
