• Damage caused by improper setup, leveling, uncrating, relocation, or failure to follow setup instructions
• Damage caused by forcing the hands, forcing the chime selector, accidental impact, dropping, or improper handling
• Unauthorized repair, modification, lubrication, or adjustment by a third party
• Damage caused by excessive humidity, dryness, moisture, direct sunlight, temperature fluctuation, smoke, pests, or unsuitable environmental conditions
• Normal wear and tear, routine maintenance, periodic oiling, or minor beat and leveling adjustments required after moving the clock
• Damage occurring during buyer-arranged transportation, relocation, packing, or return shipping

Warranty Service Outside Our Local Area

• Remote Technical Assistance: We will first attempt to diagnose setup or operational concerns through Messages, photographs, telephone consultation, or video consultation.
• Local Clock Technician: If qualifying mechanical repair is required, HQaudios may authorize reasonable labor performed by a professional clock technician selected or approved by us in advance.
• Movement Repair: When requested by HQaudios, the affected movement assembly may need to be professionally removed, packaged, and shipped to our facility. HQaudios will cover standard return ground shipping of a qualifying repaired movement.
• Full-Cabinet Freight: The warranty does not cover full-cabinet freight, packing, crating, handling, access, removal, reinstallation, or transit insurance expenses.

Warranty Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HQaudios’ obligation under this warranty is limited to diagnosing, repairing, or replacing qualifying defective mechanical parts.

HQaudios is not responsible for incidental, consequential, indirect, moving, storage, access, full-cabinet transportation, or buyer-arranged service expenses.

Warranty service and third-party repair expenses must be approved by HQaudios before work is performed. Unauthorized service expenses will not be reimbursed.

Return Policy – Please Read Before Purchasing No Returns Accepted – All Sales Are Final

Due to the size, weight, specialized mechanical construction, professional handling requirements, and high transportation cost of this grandfather clock, returns are not accepted for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, incorrect measurements, inability to accommodate the clock, or any other reason unrelated to the accuracy of the listing.

Returns Are Not Accepted for the Following Reasons

• Buyer changes their mind after purchase
• Buyer decides the clock is too large, too heavy, or unsuitable for the intended room
• The clock does not fit through a doorway, hallway, stairway, elevator, or other access point
• Buyer dislikes the accurately photographed wood color, grain, finish, chime sound, volume, or design
• Buyer is unable or unwilling to complete proper leveling, weight installation, pendulum installation, or post-delivery adjustment
• Buyer finds another clock at a lower price
• Any other buyer-remorse or change-of-mind reason

Exception for an Item That Is Materially Not as Described

If the clock is materially different from the written listing description, the wrong item is delivered, or the clock arrives with qualifying undisclosed damage, the matter will be handled through the applicable process.

The buyer must notify us promptly through Messages and provide clear photographs, video, packaging photographs, and a detailed explanation of the reported issue.

Minor leveling, beat adjustment, setup requirements after transportation, normal mechanical sounds, cosmetic characteristics shown in the photographs, or conditions already disclosed in the listing are not considered evidence that the clock is not as described.

Discretionary Return Exceptions

Although returns for buyer’s remorse are not accepted, HQaudios may choose to approve a return exception in writing through Messages. The buyer must receive written authorization before moving, disassembling, packing, or shipping the clock.

If a discretionary return is approved for a reason other than an item being materially not as described:

• A 20% restocking fee will apply to the item purchase price, to the extent permitted by policy and applicable law.
• The buyer is responsible for all return shipping or transportation costs.
• The buyer is responsible for professional packing, crating, freight service, insurance, tracking, and signature confirmation.
• Original shipping, local delivery, setup, installation, packing, and crating charges are non-refundable to the extent permitted by policy and applicable law.
• The complete clock must be returned with the cabinet, movement, three weights, pendulum, key, and every included component.
• The clock must be returned in the same cosmetic and mechanical condition in which it was delivered.
• The buyer must follow all packing and return instructions provided by HQaudios.

Returned Item Condition

The buyer is responsible for returning the clock safely, completely, and in the same condition in which it was received.

Additional deductions may apply, where permitted by policy and applicable law, for documented loss in value caused by:

• Damage to the cabinet, glass, dial, movement, pendulum, weights, chime rods, or decorative components
• Missing weights, pendulum, key, hardware, or other included components
• Improper setup, disassembly, adjustment, relocation, or handling
• Unauthorized repair, modification, lubrication, or mechanical adjustment
• Damage caused by inadequate packing, crating, or transportation
• Any other documented reduction in the clock’s resale value

Return authorization does not guarantee a full refund if the clock is returned damaged, incomplete, altered, improperly handled, or inadequately packed.
