Incredible estate find
Although this is not marked it is almost decidedly antique french.
Ormalu mounted with gold gilt decoration
measures approx 13 1/2" x 8" x 4"
The box is intact but very dirty. The hinge has a bend. The closure does "snap" close. There is some glue residue on the back ormalu mount. Heavy gilt loss as shown. Bottom rim shows wear, scratches and heavy dirt. All of this is documented in the pictures please review them carefully, they are part of the description.
