Large vintage lot of over 200 matchbooks collected primarily during travels throughout the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. This collection originally belonged to my grandparents and includes a wide variety of hotels, casinos, restaurants, bars, motels, lounges, and tourist destinations.
Many appear to originate from Nevada and California locations, including Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and numerous vintage roadside establishments. Most matchbooks are unused/unstruck, though some examples have missing matches or partial use.
This is an excellent vintage advertising and ephemera collection featuring colorful graphics, old business logos, casino memorabilia, travel nostalgia, and mid-century Americana.
